Happy Pond Day!!

Today started off wonderfully. All the campers brought everything they needed to and we were ready to go. The campers gathered in the barn for morning circle. The rules were discussed for proper pond safety and all the campers were eager to get swimming!

Chantelle and I started the fire for the stone soup. Dylan assisted us today as well! All the kids were happy to see him. After the campers made their way to the pond with their towels and lunches, they met with Julie to go over some lifeguard rules.

Everyone had a great time in the water! Some canoed around the pond, while others swam to the dock. Some campers even caught some pond life like frogs and minnows! Lunch time came around and the campers enjoyed the sun and some delicious stone soup.

During quiet time, some people worked on their para cord bracelets and others sanded. In the afternoon, the campers participated in more pond activities. Overall, it was a great day and we are looking forward to more exciting activities tomorrow!
